Lorena was born in Tarapoto in the San Martín region, a place that shaped her way of seeing the world. Her formal studies in economics and public management later brought her to specialize in indigenous interculturality at the UARM, an experience that deepened her respect and admiration for indigenous peoples and their knowledge. She believes in art and the process of creation behind it. She now lives in Cusco and is part of the Xapiri Ground team, where she seeks to expand her knowledge around Indigenous culture.
