Ivan was born in the city of Arequipa, and at an early age moved to the city of Cusco to the Tinta district (where the revolution of Tupac Amaru took place), and also where he learned the Quechua language. He has traveled to different parts of Peru in search of opportunities and knowledge; among them are Puno, Madre de Dios, and Cusco, which he now happily calls home. He loves to write poems, songs, and stories of his personal experiences. He is passionate about culture, the world of coffee, and latte art.
