Inés Amalia Prieto Silva

Gallery Assistant
Since her youth, growing up in Lima, she had always found beauty in art, captivated by the story behind each piece that offered her a way into understanding its social fabric. She is versed in different forms of art and craft, from bookbinding to jewelry design, and has worked in the tourism and hospitality sectors. In 2017, Inés moved to Cusco, but continued to travel to places like the United States and Europe. Eventually, her roots pulled her back to Peru and specifically to the Amazon. At Xapiri, she seeks fulfillment by connecting to our visitors through the gallery and shop, where her passion for learning about Indigenous culture and traditional practices deepens.
